ENGLISH BELOW:

Hello everyone!

I’m sharing with you my first Kundalini Yoga class on the island of Koh Phangan in Thailand!

Kundalini Yoga is a dynamic yoga, very different from other types of yoga such as Hatha, Asthanga or Vinyasa.
Kundalini Yoga is a very intense practice, based enormously on the breath (pranayama).

The aim is to make or re-make the vital energy circulates in the body in order to find a better physical, emotional and mental balance.

And to tell the truth, it works!

The effects for me were very powerful, very surprising, felt at times by a surplus of energy and at the same time of a mental peace. The perfect combination par excellence, something I have never experienced in my other yoga practices (being a Hatha Yoga teacher myself)

The introductory mantra used for this practice is the following:
Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo, which means “I bow to the first and creative energy, I bow to the subtle and divine wisdom”, or “I bow to my highest consciousness”.

For your first practice, I strongly recommend that you be assisted by a Kundalini Yoga teacher so that he or she can best advise and assist you during this process which can be truly powerful and transformative.

I leave it to you to watch this video, which will give you a concrete idea of what Kundalini Yoga is all about

Happy discovery to all!
